This collection consists of research material created and collected by Mary Ann Pickens about Lynn R. Lowery.

Collection of 10 16mm films, 1 Super 8mm film, 1 audio reel filmed by Dr. Zevi Salsburg in the 1950s-1970s. Films include family events, travel, and scenes at Rice University.

The Jeanmarie Amend collection is a snapshot of the life of a student at Rice in the early 1980s. A prolific writer (both professionally and personally), Jeanmarie recorded several journals detailing her time at Rice. In addition to her school papers, the collection contains schoolbooks, news clippings, correspondence, photographs, and memorabilia--each contributing the the vibrant picture of Jeanmarie’s university days.

The collection consists of a single letter written by L. Ruth Wells Cahill, describing her journey from her hometown of Shreve, Ohio through Chicago south to Houston by train, and speculation about plans for the incipient "Rice Institute" once she arrived there.

This collection mainly contains Cal Dean Hill, Jr., Virginia Lee Smith, and their son Howard Hill documenting their time at Rice University.

Over the years, Rice University has changed, expanding what began as a cluster of buildings to the developed campus it boasts today. The printing plates in this collection showcase Rice's changes to buildings and landscapes through the years, as well as several important historical figures.

The Noel Parrish Texas Aviation Hall of Fame 2018 awards collection offers a snapshot of the event honoring, among others, Noel Parrish for being inducted into the Texas Aviation Hall of Fame for his contributions overseeing the Tuskegee airmen at Maxwell Field.

This collection contains the teaching resources and writings of renowned teacher, researcher, playwright, and actress Naomi Carrier, whose advocacy for African-American voices in history has had a profound effect on educational representation in Texas.

The Isabella Gonzalez collection mainly consists of materials collected and created by Gonzalez during her time at Rice University. A large portion of the collection is photographs, contact sheets, and negatives.

The collection consists of tape recorded interviews with nine people who were closely familiar with the architectural work of William Ward Watkin. The recordings are in digital mp3 format and on original microcassettes, including the recording equipment with which they were made. No transcripts currently exist for this material.
