Scope and Contents note
This subseries is arranged alphabetically and consists of some hand- and typewritten works of Juliette and Julian Huxley. It includes Juliette’s autobiographical ms. "Leaves of the Tulip Tree," reviews and correspondence (64 pieces) related to "Wild Lives of Africa," and various shorter pieces and scraps. In addition, there is a typescript of Julian Huxley’s memoirs entitled "Memories," notes related to Religion without Revelation, various Julian Huxley drafts, offprints, and some interesting early writings of his dated 1895, 1897, and 1904. This subseries also includes travel material on Hawaii, Israel (including 37 pieces of correspondence), and India.
