Contents include: Big Walter Price talks about his early life, raised by his aunt, finished the 1st grade and was moved up to 5th grade, started working at 11 yrs. old, dropped out of school, worked in restaurants, in the group the Northern Wonders, worked on the railway, went to T.N.T. records (Bob Tanner) to record, about how his first album went from a hit to being blocked because he called a white phone operator "honey," 1956 1st musician to have... an integrated band in Houston, recorded for Duke Peacock records, first hit "Shirley Jean," "Pack Fair and Square," crime photographer, private investigator, touring Europe, movie "Sugar Hill," [uses a deragatory name for Black people, while naming a movie directed by Martin Goldman], music was in the Muhammad Ali documentary "The Greatest," philanthropy, TV performances, proclamations received, Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee, religion, and Sam Houston; Big Walter playing on the keyboard and performing live.
