Scope and Contents
The Seven Acres Collection contains materials from 1977 to 2024 including event fliers, reports, photographs, DVDs, the newsletter “The Sentinel”, newspaper clippings, pamphlets, fundraising brochures, advertisements, and calendars. The materials are largely pertained to events and programs organized by the Seven Acres elderly home for its residents and donors. This collection is of particular interest to those studying Houston’s elderly Jewish community as well as businesses owned by Jewish women.
