Bronze replica of the William Marsh Rice statue mounted on a wood base. The base has a brass plaque engraved with "Gilberta M. Zingler Rice University Associates." Gilberta Zingler was assistant Librarian for resources at Fondren Library. Presumably donated by Ms. Zingler, but no indication of date. Item is loose in the box.
