Boxes 1-25, 27-30, 32, 35-37, 39, 43, 44, 46-52, 54, 56-58, 60-62, 64, 67-128, as well as all unboxed and oversize items are stored onsite mostly in the vault at the Woodson Research Center.

General

Original metal key to Fondren library with sterling silver discs affixed to the front and back of the key head. One disc is engraved with text "Mrs. W.W. Fondren" and the other disc with text "The Fondren Library, Nov. 4, 1949." Item is located within the original gold metal-trimmed black leather presentation box in which is also found Mrs. Fondren's Association of Rice Alumni Distinguished Service medal.
