Additional Description

General

Gold-colored medallion commemorating the 1990 16th annual G7 Economic Summit held at Rice University. The front of the medallion is in relief and depicts many Houston area motifs. The back of the medallion, also in relief depicts the star of Texas surronded by the names and flags of the participating countries, with a banner at the bottom reading "1990 Economic Summit." The item is accompanied by a tag that reads: "Economic ummit Medal. Came to Woodson in 1994 after Russ Pittman had company "strike" medal for library."
