Boxes 1-25, 27-30, 32, 35-37, 39, 43, 44, 46-52, 54, 56-58, 60-62, 64, 67-128, as well as all unboxed and oversize items are stored onsite mostly in the vault at the Woodson Research Center.

General

Bronze medallion awarded by The Kosciuszko Foundation to Kazimierz Bulas, who worked at Rice University Fondren Library starting in the mid-1950's. The medallion's front face has an image of a man in uniform and the words "He is as pure a son of liberty as I have ever known" around the perimeter. Below the image is engraved "Thomas Jefferson". On the back face there is text around the perimeter "The Kosciuszko Foundation Medal of Recognisition" and in the center, "For Distinguuished service to Polish and American culture awarded to", with engraved "Kaieierz Bulas 1962." There is no information regarding donor. The item is located in its original black presentation case embossed with gold text "Medallic Art Co. New York."
