Gold-colored round medallion presented as the Raymond John Swift Medal, along with its original wood display stand. The front is in relief and shows a laurel wreath with a stylized flying owl in the center. Around the border is the text "Raymond John Swift Medal, William Marsh Rice University". The back is featureless. This award is given to a senior Studio Art-track major and was endowed by Russell Pitman in honor of a former employee of the Rice Police department. Item is probably donated by Russell Pitman. Item is located in a box identified with "Raymond John Swift Medal."
