General
Rice Pre-Medical Society lapel pin. Pin is 10K gold with caduceus symbol surmonted by a diamond shaped shield containing the words "RICE Pre Med". The back is engraved with "B.F.H. '48." A search through the 1948 Campanile reveals several Pre-Medical Society Seniors with last names beginning with "H". One is William Robert Hurst, which comes close, but the middle initial doesn't match and none of the others have either first or middle names that match the initials that are engraved. The original owner is, thus, unknown. There is no information regarding donor. Item is located within an envelope identified with "Rice Pre-Med Caduceus "BFH '48"."
