Metal button pin, white with an image of Abbie Hoffman in black, and words "Conspiracy april 12." This button relates to the event in April 1970 when Abbie Hoffman was invited by the Student Association to come speak at Rice, and the invitation was vetoed by then-acting-President Vandiver, leading to some student protest. Donated by Charles Szalkowski, class of 1971. Located in an envelope identified with "Abbie Hoffman button pin."
