Bronze shield commemorating the Rice Engineering society's 3rd biennial Reunion in 1938. The shield has a textured background with a raised shield that is divided into 4 quadrants. The letter "R" is in the center and the four quadrants contain the letters "ME", "CE", "ChE", and "EE". The plaque is further engraved with the text: "Third Biennial Reunion, 1938." Though not otherwise identified, this item is included with other items described in a previous database entry as being "from the estate of George B. and Mariann Kitchell, 1/23/2003."
