General
2 stainless steel dedication plaques for a Collins Helium Cryostat manufactured by Arthur D. Little, Inc. and given to Rice in 1954 by Mrs. Elizabeth P. Henderson. One plaque is polished stainless steel with a maroon field and raised text and logo: "ADL Collins Helium Cryostat" and what looks like a winged acorn. Below this in engraved maroon text: "Arthur D. Little, Inc. Cambridege, Massachussetts, U.S.A." The other plaque is brushed stainless steel with a recessed blue border and engraved blue text "The gift of Mrs. Elizabeth P. Henderson to the Rice Institute in memory of her late husband Frank C. Henderson, 1954". These items are located within an envelope identified with "Dedication plaqque for ADL - Collins Helium liquifier, donated c. 1952".
