General

Small, approximately square, polished marble with chamfered edges. Written text on one side reads: "Made from Campanile Column, 2002, G. Marshall". G. Marshall is most likely Greg Marshall, a Rice alumnus, possibly class of 1986. Evidence from the Rice Campanile indicates that Mr. Marshall was a Baker College residential associate in 2002. There is no indication of why or when this piece of stone came in to being. Located within a box identified with text: " "Squared" piece of Campanile column, 2002, G. Marshall."
