General
Tarnished silver bracelet made up of finely tooled screen oval shaped links and a central rectangular panel outlined in ornamented silver with an etched-glass infill and a silver Rice Institute academic seal on the face. This item is not accompanied by any description but is possibly the item described in previous collection inventories as: "'Rice' bracelet - Mrs. Kingsland Arnold (Mary Ellen Bentley - 1936)." The style/design of the bracelet and its apparent age could easily place it in the late 1920's - 1930's time frame, but there is no direct information regarding original owner, donor or date. Item is located in a plastic bag within an envelope identified with "Bracelet, possibly owned by Mary Ellen Bentley, class of 1936).
