General
Probale class ring, post 1916 - pre 1927. Engraved on inside is "Allie May, 7-5-1920". Allie May is Allie May Autry, class of 1925. Ring is gold and has small, enameled Rice Institute academic seal with owls in relief on each side. Speculation is that this ring may perhaps have been given to Allie May by her older brother, James Lockhart Autry III, class of 1921, though the date engraved on the ring seems cryptic. Item was donated in 1989 by Allie May Autry Kelley. Item is located in an identified box.
