Boxes 1-25, 27-30, 32, 35-37, 39, 43, 44, 46-52, 54, 56-58, 60-62, 64, 67-128, as well as all unboxed and oversize items are stored onsite mostly in the vault at the Woodson Research Center.

General

Pocket watch fob consisting of a leather strap and metal Rice Institute academic seal that is enameled with blue and gray. The back is engraved with "Tuffly and Scoggins Shoes, Rice Hotel Building. Houston, Tex." "Tuffly and Scoggins Shoes" was apparently a long-time Houston shoe retailer in the early 20th century formerly named "Krupps and Tuffly." There is no indication of original owner or donor. Located within a box identified as "Rice Institute Watch Fobs."
