Scope and Contents
The Houston Hadassah collection contains materials from 1934-2022, including administrative materials, awards and certificates, bulletins, correspondence, directories, event materials, news clippings, photographs, radio and television materials, scrapbooks, and yearbooks.
Of particular interest are the contents of the membership directories which inlcude, not only membership information but the history of Hadassah, current projects undertaken in Israel, board members information, a message from the president of Hadassah, and a number of advertisements.
Most of the scrapbooks have been scanned and disassembled. The scrapbooks' original order was maintained.
