Content Description

From the Collection:

A printed copy of Rochella Cooper's memoir, Insights and Stories to Tell, a digitized oral history interview and transcript conducted by the Houston Jewish History Archive in 2022, and the memoir From Rabbi to Butcher to Professor to Professor by Rochella Cooper's brother, Dr. Colin Brown document the life of Rochella Cooper and her family. Rochella Cooper's memoir was scanned in-house and returned to the author and the memoir by Dr. Colin Brown is born-digital.

Of particular interest is the memoir by Dr. Brown, as it traces their family's ancestry and history from the late 18th century in eastern Europe to today.

Forms part of the Joan and Stanford Alexander South Texas Jewish Archives.
