Interview 7: Sam Levy, 1943-1945, n.d.
Scope and Contents
This collection contains programs, pamphlets, photographs, speeches, correspondence, compact discs, administrative records, and newsletters that document some of the activities and events undertaken by Jewish Family Service, as well as the history of the organization from 1947 to 2015. Of particular interest is a collection of oral history interviews recorded in the late 1970s with former staff and board members of Jewish Family Service, including former presidents. This collection is ideal for researchers interested in the Houston Jewish community, Social Service programs offered to the same, and prominent philanthropists connected to the Jewish Family Service.
