"Noise," Director: Rick Arnold, 1970
Scope and Contents
"A short fiction film produced by the Media Center. Most of the cast and crew are either staff of the Media Center, or their friends, partners and relatives.
Director Nick Arnold came to the Media Center after graduating from UT Austin and despite his white collar family's expectations that he'd become a businessman, Arnold became involved with film.
Multiple such films were produced in the 1970s when the Media Center would give an amount of money, usually of up to 10,000 USD, to its employees so they could make a film. Other such examples include Don Quaintance's documentary ""Gulf Coast Survivors"", also in the archive's collection."
