Scope and Contents
9 pages, folio (350 x 265 mm), in blue ink, on music paper from a spiral notebook (16 staves per page), slipped into a double page music paper, with the dry stamp « FLAMMARI- ON, magasin de musique », sporting the title of the work.
This double page also sports the inscription from Poulenc to Denise Duval : « La dame de Monte-Carlo, c’est-à-dire Mad- ame Duval. Porquerolles, 61 » [The Lady of Monte-Carlo, that is to say Mme Duval. Porquerolles, 61]. The manuscript also sports a few marks in red ballpoint pen. Some folding on the first and last leaves. Provenance : Denise Duval (inscription) – by descent to the present owner.
