Scope and Contents
Set of printed orchestral parts with corrections and alterations in at least two unidentified hands in blue, red, and lead pencil and with additional markings including references to performers, conductors, places of performance, etc.
Moscou... Leipzig: P. Jurgenson [PN 35966], [1911-1912].
Folio. Unbound. Contained between heavy boards with cloth ties, titling in blue pencil to upper. With typed list of parts titled "Matériel d'orchestre de la 1re Suite de L'Oiseau de Feu" laid down to inner upper board, noting number of copies of each part:
Title-pages stamped "Bibliothèque du Théâtre Ville de Genève."
Blank versos of Flute parts with pencil drawings of Stravinsky and other performers. Overpasted manuscript music to first flute, oboe, clarinet, and horn parts in a copyist's hand; the fourth clarinet part entirely in a copyist's hand.
