The proclamation was issued at the Filipiniana Restaurant located at 9671 Bissonnet Street, Houston, TX 77036 on October 12, 2016 to commemorate Filipino American History Month. Filipino Americans in the Greater Houston Area were given an opportunity to meet Mayor Sylvester Turner and engage with him in a genuine and meaningful dialogue.
