Scope and Contents
BBYO yearbooks, an oral history interview, speeches given by Bell, and programs and booklets from Congregations Adath Emeth and Beth Yeshurun events document some of the activities David Bell participated in from 1941 to 2023. Of particular interest in the small collection is the 2023 oral history interview with David Bell and a 1941 copy of The Golden Book of Adath Yeshurun, which relates an in-depth history of the congregation's first fifty years, including what brought many Jewish people to Texas, the founding of the congregation, membership lists, organizations, and activities.
