General

2 piece solid crystal thank you gift given to major donors for the Tudor Fieldhouse and Youngkin Center construction in 2008. The item consists of a crystal orb conatining an inner painted glass (?) sphere depicting the renovated and remodeled building. This orb is supported on a truncated pyramid base that is etched with the words: "Tudor Field House Youngkin Center 2008 On behalf of Rice University, Our 350 stundent athletes And the over 3,000 Letterwinners THANK YOU For playing an important role in the ongoing excellence of our athletic program." Item is contained within its original foam-lined black cardboard box.
