Bronze replica of the William Marsh Rice statue mounted on a wood base. The base has a brass plaque engraved with "Peggy and Bill Barnett, Rice University Associates." Bill Barnett was a Rice graduate, class of 1955 and Chairman of the Rice Board of Trustees from 1996-2005. Presumably donated by the Barnett's, but no indication of date. Item is loose in the box.
