The plaque is engraved with the Rice academic seal and text: "The Association of Rice Alumni honors Distinguished Alumnus of Rice University, JAMES MISCHKA BA 1985, Art and Art History, Managerial Studies, For his national and international accomplishments in the field of fashion design and his commitment to fashion education.
