Scope and Contents
This is a collection of photocopies of personal letters written by Andrew Forest Muir to David Howell-Jones from February to August 1958. The orginal letters have been lost. The letters were written while Muir was doing research on William Marsh Rice for the book "William Marsh Rice and His Institute: A Biographical Study." Many letters describe Muir's research process including where he did his research and the information he acquired.
