Rice University Margarett Root Brown College Records
Correspondence, newsclippings, obituaries, minutes, freshman materials, publications, governmental and budget documents as well as other information relating to the general operation of Brown College. There are also files on the Brown students such as lists of members and room assignments. Brown College was dedicated on October 3, 1965 and was filled primarily by women who had volunteered to leave Jones College, then the only women's college, to start a new college.
Rice University News and Media Relations; Board, Administration and Faculty Photo and Research files
Rice University News and Media Relations has also been known in the past as News and Publications. This office creates and manages news releases on behalf of the university. The photo and biographical files in this collection were created and manitained by that office for use in such news releases.
Rice University Professional and Business Women records
The collection consists of the constitution, meeting announcements, calendars, directories, and newsletters of the Rice University Business and Professional Women for the years 1986 through 1995. It was created by Nancy Boothe, an archivist at Fondren Library, during the years when she was a member of the organization.
Rice University scrapbook collection
The collections includes a series of scrapbooks of the activities of Rice alumni and a series of scrapbooks from Rice University departments, Rice-related events, and other materials related to the life of the university.

This collection consists of the business records, promotional calendars, and digital images that chronicle Rockefeller's music venue.
Roger Francis "Rock" Romano collection
This collection mainly comprises the audio output of the Red Shack recording studion owned by Rock Romano. It also contains archival material related to The Fun and Games, Smokin' Fitz, and Dr. Rockit.
Ruth Carter Slack family papers
This collection consists of the personal and family papers of Houstonian Ruth Carter Slack, including diaries, correspondence, personal travel memorabilia, and memorabilia from her personal life, such as inventories, lists and address books. Also in the collection are her photo collections, hospital records, course notes, and documentation of the Carter and Slack family history.
Ruth Young McGonigle architectural papers
This collection consists of architectural drawings done by Ruth Y. McGonigle during her private practice in Brownsville, TX. She designed mostly residential houses with the exception of a few public buildings.

This collection consists of business records, photographs, audio, newspaper clippings, and correspondence documenting the music career of Sara Hickman.
Sarah Austin letters
Two letters written by Sarah Austin, a writer, translator, and wife of jurist John Austin. One letter relates to the dangerous illness of her brother; the other refers to her stay at Bonchurch and mentions that she had written a letter to The Times with references to Shakespeare's house.
