Abstract: The Civil War and Confederate scrapbook of Mrs. Mary J. Bobo contains pasted clippings from the Nashville (Tenn.) Banner on some of the history and battles of the U.S. Civil War dating from 1902-1907. Principally, the battles at Murphreesboro and Chickamauga, Tenn. are noted.

Includes material relating to land in Texas, Bering family, and Little Rock, AR, during the Civil War.

Abstract: Nicholas Bryar Massenburg, planter of Franklin County, N.C., owned Woodleaf and Egypt plantations. In this daybook, Massenburg describes weather conditions, social activities, and sales of land and equipment. Yearly lists of slaves, their ages and overseers are also included.
