Overview The collection consists of documentation of CERCL activities, such as submissions to a high school essay contest, event flyers, two oral history interviews, and extensive coverage of Hip-Hop relatved classes and events.

Overview Oral history interviews (tapes, cd's, transcripts), news releases, photographs, color slides, publications, campus directories, student papers relating to the five-day controversy which arose on the campus of Rice University in February 1969 following the appointment of Dr. William H. Masterson by the Board of Trustees as the university’s new President to succeed Kenneth Pitzer, who had resigned in August 1968.

Overview Audio cassette tapes and subject index of oral histories given by Rice students and alumni regarding student life, created within a university course as a contribution to the charter centennial celebration in 1991. It also includes a copy of the published work, The History of Student Life at Rice University: A Series of Papers, which resulted from these interviews.

Overview The collection consists of audio cassette recordings and transcripts of interviews with three former presidents of Rice University, Kenneth Pitzer, Norman Hackerman, and George Rupp, made in 1993 and 1994, and videotaped interviews of the same individuals, made in 1995. Also included are an audiotaped interview of a Rice alumna, made in 1990, with transcript, and videotaped interviews of a Rice student and two Rice faculty members, made in 1995.
