Abstract The collection consists of materials accumulated by a major alumni supporter of Rice athletics over sixty years. Included is a program from the Texas Relays in 1926 which shows the discus throwing record in the Southwest Conference held by the creator of the collection. The George R. Miner, Jr. Rice memorabilia collection focuses on Rice University athletics. It contains mostly photographs of athletes, coaches, along with action shots of various sports, the majority concerning football. There are also photographs and memorabilia of team reunions, the Rice Athletic Hall of Fame, and Rice alumni events.

The contents are donated by Rice community members and/or gathered by the Woodson Research Staff, and represent one of the most heavily used portions of the University archives.

Abstract This collection contains memorabilia from the Ye Old College Inn. It consists of photographs, a recipe book and a scrapbook from the Ye Old College Inn. The photographs are those taken of Rice college teams and athletes as early as 1915 and they include baseball, basketball, cross-country, football, and track athletes.
