Overview The Congregation Beth Israel Collection offers a glimpse into the day-to-day goings-on of Congregation Beth Israel, with documents spanning a century of the Jewish temple’s existence. Books, memorabilia, directories, programs, sermons, and church bulletins from different decades show the similarities and changes at Beth Israel as it continues to grow with the rest of Houston’s Jewish Community.

Overview This collection which spans 1939 to 2018 includes a 1939-1943 notebook from the Refugee Services Committee which assisted Jews fleeing the Nazi regime in WWII, as well as a variety of photographs of people and events from the Federation's activities in the 1980s. The addendum includes event programs, guides, and one VHS recording.

Overview The Jules H. Borger collection offers a glimpse into the Houston Jewish community from the 1910 to 2015. Containing a number of materials such as bulletins, postcards, photographs, programs, magazines, and news clippings, the collection illuminates the day-to-day existence of some of Houston’s more prominent Jewish points of interest.

Overview This collection is made up of one box containing correspondence, photographs, news clippings, newsletters, event materials, and military documents/materials from Ruth Hutton Fred and her family, spanning from 1928-2013.
