E. B. Osborn letters

Abstract: The collection consists of autographed correspondence between Edward Bolland Osborn (1867-1938) and James Nicol Dunn (1856-1919) between the years 1892 and 1909. The bound letters reveal a wide range of topics and interests that the two men shared from reviewing books and writing articles to professional achievements. The volume contains some biographical information about the two correspondents as well as a prepared index of topics and individuals mentioned in the letters.

Abstract: This collection consists of an assortment of letters and papers acquired over a period of time and kept together. The collection consists of folders containing correspondence to and from historical / literary figures (Thomas Carlyle, Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz, Jose de San Martin, George Bernard Shaw, Henry David Thoreau, William Wordsworth, and others). The largest part of the collection is correspondence of nineteenth century literary figures.

Frank E. Dudley poetry and artifacts

Grover Smith collection of Aldous Huxley correspondence

Overview The Grover Smith papers are largely comprised of photocopies of letters between literary critic and author Aldous Huxley and numerous correspondents -- literary, scientific, friends, and family -- mainly from Great Britain and the U.S., dating from 1908-1985, bulk years 1930s-1950s. Some original correspondence between Julian Huxley and Smith exists, which relates to Smith's publication of the Huxley letters as Letters of Aldous Huxley, Harper & Row, 1970.

Abstract: The collection consists of personal correspondence of Hallam Tennyson, who was the eldest son and biographer of the poet Lord Alfred Tennyson (1809-1892). Correspondents include Mrs. Allingham, Sir George Grove, J. M. Ludlow, A. West. The collection contains letters that deal with Nelson letters, Captain Mahon, and Tennyson's memoir of his father.
