Scope and Contents From the Collection: The records consist of drafts, galley proofs, revisions, page proofs, typescripts, and reviews of the published volumes of The Papers of Jefferson Davis. Also included are administrative records of the Jefferson Davis Association--both the coporation and university department--grant proposals and reports, files detailing the acquistion of Davis documents and research material, documentary editing methodology, and memorabilia.
