Scope and Contents From the Collection: This collection contains the papers and miscellaneous materials of Asa Crawford Chandler, profesor of Biology at Rice from 1927 until his death in 1958. Chandler's career was one of high attainment in scientific research, effective teaching and continuous public service. The collection includes lecture notes, course notes, correspondence, journals, and photos.
