Scope and Contents From the Collection: This collection consists of twenty-one individual letters of correspondence between various U.S. Civil War military departments, regarding many different logistical aspects relating to national cemeteries. Some of the letters are requests for materials or the estimated costs of materials required at national cemeteries while other letters are building specifications, requests for maps, and applications or remarks of cemetery superintendents.
