Scope and Contents From the Collection: The collection consists of 16 boxes of books and papers, mostly from the 1860s, all of which were readily available to the public in the Confederacy at the time. The collection includes state and C.S.A. laws, ordinances, and regulations, military manuals, political dissertations, school books, novels, maps, tracts, and sermons.
