Biographical / Historical

Curbside Review, a Houston-based monthly poetry journal devoted to modern free verse and prose poetry, existed from 2000 to 2006. It was published and edited by R.T. Castleberry and Carolyn Adams, members of the Flying Dutchman Wrtiers Troupe. It received roughly 1,200 original submissions per year and accepted about 20%. Press run was 400 copies that published approximately 10 poems per issue. Its format was four pages, magazine-sized, copier printed and folded, and was distributed free to local poetry groups and events, as well as local independent bookstores.
