Biographical / Historical

The Texas Human Rights Foundation records document a significant part of the Houston and Texas response to the 1986 Bowers v. Hardwick decision, particularly their work around the Texas sodomy law that gives the long background story in the 1980s and 1990s for the Lawrence v. texas US Supreme Court case decided in 2003.
