Biographical / Historical
There has been newspaper coverage of Rice University since its opening in 1912, and it has been continuous to the present time. The publications represented are nearly all Houston-based. The earlier clippings are from newspapers that no longer exist. Coverage in some of the early articles is especially comprehensive, for instance including full texts of addresses.
