Jefferson D. (Jeff) Hong scrapbook of the American-Chinese Post No. 596 American Legion
The collection consists of the scans of Mr. Hong's scrapbook, which includes 109 photos of community events. There are photos of Explorer Scouts at their air base, meetings of the American Legion, American-Chinese post no. 596, Houston Tx, VA dinners, American Legion trip to Washington, DC., Veteran's Day parade, City of Houston Proclamation Day, and the Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Celebration.

Cybil Pallugna-Saenz "Halo Halo TV” recordings of Filipino-American events in Houston
Possibly the first Filipino TV show in Houston, “Halo Halo TV” now exists as a web series, “Halo Halo Houston”--both focusing on Filipinx culture within the Houston Metropolitan area. Donated by the producer of the show, Cybil Pallugna-Saenz, this collection contains original recordings for the show, which made great strides of Filipino media representation in the early 2000s.
