Abstract: This is a handwritten letter dated July 30, 1828 and signed by C.A. Somerset. The letter is addressed to an un-named publisher, in which Somerset refers to a short manuscript sent with the letter and requests addresses for "respectable publishers in the Whig interest."

Abstract: Charles B. Johnson Confederate Supply Requisition records pertain to the business of the Wichita Indian Agency as well as receipts, quartermasters’ store lists, payment abstracts, invoices, and records of acquisitions made by the Confederate States of America in the State of Texas.

Overview The letters are legal in nature, and apparently deal with various lawsuits brought by or against Baldwin concerning land and contracts.
