The High Temperature Science (HTS) series is comprised of the papers connected with Margrave’s editorship of this scientific journal. Included are the internal paperwork between Margrave and the periodical’s contributors, as well as those between Margrave and the two publishing houses, Academic Press and Humana Press. Also included in this series are general correspondence, answers to a questionnaire Margrave developed in connection with the near demise of the journal, and a special tribute written about Margrave by Paul Gilles of the University of Kansas.
Since the papers generated by Margrave within this series overlap in time, researchers are encouraged to look in folders that lie on either side of the year in which they are interested (that is, if you are interested in a date early in 1974, you should look in the latter part of the 1973 folder as well).
