From the Collection:
Two scrapbooks containing photographs, school report cards, programs, newspaper clippings, agendas, and correspondence; materials documenting events at Congregation Beth Yeshurun, including materials from the 100th Anniversary Celebration; youth organization materials; and a story written by the donor document the interests and activities of S.L. Wisenberg from 1961 to 2001. The scrapbooks remain intact and original order was maintained, although loose materials stuck in the front and back covers have been removed and foldered separately. Of particular interest is a 1965 Astros program from the inaugural season in the Astrodome, school records from Beth Yeshurun School, and Congregation Beth Yeshurun anniversary/dedication books which document the history of the congregation from its founding up to 1991.
