Scope and Contents

From the Collection: The collection consists of approximately 235 poems, and correspondence relating to the poetry of Frank Elijah Dudley, of Beaumont, California. Mr. Dudley sent copies of his writings to various institutions and politicians, and would travel giving recitations in order to fund the publication of his works. Also included in the collection are apparently American Indian artifacts including arrowheads, "swastika" gourd, animal sculptures and a small amount of California gold dust.
