General
The box labelled B13 contains records, news articles, typed reports and research notes concerning the cattle mutilation phenomenon in the United States, primarily during the 1970s and 1980s. Also reports on UFO cases unrelated to animal mutilations, such as the Kinross Incident. Also included is the text of an interview of Dr. Hynek for the FBI Bulletin, Feb. 1975, and a District Attorney report from the 1st Judicial District of New Mexico by Kenneth Rommel, Jr. which (in Vallee's opinion) was a whitewash instigated by CIA influence: It was designed to intimidate ranchers into refraining from reporting incidents on their land.
