Scope and Contents
This letter (10 January 1890) from Moses Austin Bryan letter to Col. W.W. Fontaine is in response to a series of questions concerning the revolutionary period in Texas history. Topics included General Houston's address to the army on the Salado, whether Houston had ordered Mosley Baker to to burn San Felipe, Deaf Smith's stress on the importance of destroying the bridge over Vince's Bayou to prevent reinforcements to Santa Anna, and plotting and faction at San Felipe.
