1916 quote from C. G. Gray, editor of "The Aeroplane," for a forward "Aeroplane Design" by E. S. Barnwell. Quote states "... much harm has been done both to the development of aeroplanes and to the good repute of genuine areoplane designers by people who pose as 'aeronautical experts ....'"
